Allround skipper working in European waters and beyond.

I take on yacht deliveries, private and charter skippering, as well as on-board tuition. Happy to organise and sail with my own crew when needed.

My focus is on monohull yachts, often older boats with simple, robust systems. I’m at my best on longer passages, and I’m comfortable sailing in both tidal and non-tidal waters. I prefer purposeful sailing over luxury or high-end cruising.

On board, the approach is simple: sail safely, look after the boat, and look after the crew. As a boat owner and full-time liveaboard, I have a solid practical understanding of boat systems and maintenance.

I hold a Yachtmaster Offshore certificate and work as a Cruising Instructor for the RYA. I enjoy both teaching and learning on board, and ongoing evaluation is crucial to me.
